Globalisation, which affects all sectors, from the economic to the social and the political, involves both information in general and the media. At the European level, they guarantee local diversity and the indispensable means to understand the implications of decisions made in Europe in a meaningful way. Within the European context, and with orther European cities nearby, people want to know, to discover and understand their fellow citizens, intersted in sharing certain common values and dealing with the differences.
